Why are the letters in different order each time?
Because besides a keylogger, there could also be a mouselogger installed, keeping track of all your mousemoves. If all the letters would be in the same place each time, a mouselogger could recognize the pattern and figure out your password. That's why each time the screen loads the letters are sent to the page in random order and the popup appears on a different place on the screen each time.
What is a keylogger?
A keylogger is software or hardware that registers which keys you press on the keyboard. Some keyloggers can send these logs to their maker. A log could show the url you typed, your username and password. Say you logged in at Yahoo the log would show "www.yahoo.comDaffy_ducksend_more_chocolate". It doesn't take much imagination for the hacker to figure out "Daffy_duck" is the user name and the password is "send_more_chocolate". Read more on wikipedia.
